I am not in Fargo. I am on a huge guilt trip that I'm not there, but every time I step outside and shiver I have to admit that I'm glad I'm not there.
Those folks are in a world of hurt, and my heart goes out to them. It now looks like the river is not going to crest as high as originally forecast, but that it will stay high longer. Would you like mustard or mayonnaise on your shit sandwich?
If you don't know, the National Weather Service has an amazing web site that you can use to follow flooding. The Red River can be monitored at http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=fgf or you can see the entire US. There's also an RSS feed but it tends to run behind by an hour or so.

You were out for weeks on other events not too far back. No guilt trip needed ... besides this flood ain't over yet. The Bat Phone may ring at any moment.
